April Fools! This month, we decided to shake things up a little and spotlight a Commander and a mechanic that might not see a lot of play at your Commander table. Unfinity was the first Magic set to introduce cards that were Eternal-legal, which includes Commander. That means a lot of zany antics and Attractions. Lots and lots of attractions! This month we're giving the spotlight to Myra the Magnificent, a Blue/Red Commander that opens Attractions and loves casting as many spells as you can!

Myra the Magnificent loves opening Attractions and then adding midway counters to them so whenever you visit those attractions, you get to cast spells for free! With the the amount of spells you're going to be casting, cards like Guttersnipe is a great creature to have on the battlefield to slowly chip away at your opponents. Inevitable Betrayal can be added to an Attraction for free since it has no mana value, giving you the opportunity to tutor up creatures later with Myra's triggered ability with ease. Grapeshot can also be a fantastic card to cast multiple times to either pick apart creatures on the battlefield or get the last points of life from the table. If you need additional card draw, Shimmer Dragon can put your Attractions to work allowing you to tap two artifacts (two Attractions in this case) to draw a card.
